New wineskins are pliable and adaptable, whereas old wineskins are rigid and stiff. The old wineskin does not have the capacity to hold the new wine. A lot of times we pray for God to do new things in our lives yet we are still holding on to old habits, sinful behaviors, and patterns of thinking that are actually detrimental to the new things we desire.

So I was drinking pomegranate juice one day, and the quote on the back really stood out to me and I want to share it with you all. It said

“It’s common to interpret thirst as hunger and to eat when you really need to drink.”

When I read this quote, I started thinking about how we try to satisfy our flesh with all of these worldly things and fleshly desires but it’s never enough. And we think that we will be satisfied when we fill our flesh, when we really our thirsty and need to feed our spirit.

The story of the disciples on the boat in the storm has always encouraged me. While the disciples were frantic, Jesus was sleeping peacefully. He was sleeping peacefully because he knew that the waves would not overtake them.

Share you testimony! Share your story! Share your gift! Share your talent! Speak what God is calling you to speak! Write what God is calling you to write! Create what God is calling you to create! This is not the time to shrink back in fear!

Run to the Father!

The Lord is your refuge in the time of trouble.

Many times when we are going through tough times, instead of immediately running to God we run to others to find escape and comfort or pleasure. We run to things that are not fulfilling and these things that we run to lead to spiritual death.

The Lord desires for us to run to Him!

Faith is something that all believers should be striving to have. Having faith is necessary and crucial to our walk with God.

In this life, we will go through many situations where are faith and trust in God will be tested! There will be times when unexpected things happen that our out of our control. There will be times when our circumstances and life looks completely opposite of what the Lord has spoken over us and spoken in His Word.

In this month and in this year, Goes desires to RESET you so that he can RESTORE you and REVIVE you as you come to him in REPENTANCE.

She got married this year.
He got a promotion.
She bought a high-rise apartment.
He got a new car.

 It can be discouraging to watch what everyone else accomplished this year,
especially when there are only a few days left
and your prayers feel unheard
and your tears seem endless.

The beginning of a new year is supposed to be a celebration,
but for some of us, it’s a reminder
of dreams delayed
and hopes deferred.

What is Beauty? According to Oxford Languages dictionary, beauty is a combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight.

This is an accurate definition of how most people would define beauty. We tend to measure beauty by its outward appearance but what if beauty was not based on the outward appearance? What if the beauty of something was more than the physical eye could see? What if the beauty of something could only be discerned spiritually and with the wisdom of God?
